The other day my boyfriend and I went to Michael's to find some materials for a necklace he wanted to make for his Buddha Pendant. And so I helped in with the bead part, and he did the rest. Looks pretty good!

My friend's birthday is coming up! She's also my roommate and she's been getting me some great gifts! So I decided to get her something cool to add to her growing makeup collection. I got an email from Michael's saying that they were having a sale from July 11-17. I saw the flower vases and they were 2 for $5. She also asks me a lot of questions about what brushes to buy, and what primer is pretty good. So I went to MAC, and go her a 217 brush, because that brush is so universal. Used to blend apply lid makeup, apply color on the crease browbone. It's just an overall great brush. Then I headed over to Sephora and got her an Urban Decay Primer potion. A great primer is an IDEAL for your makeup kit! After getting all those goodies, I put them all in a Sephora Inspired vase filled with little beads. Then I got a transparent film and wrapped it all up. Here are pictures! :D

Most high-end eyeshadow cost about $17 dollars and up! Well, if you're on a budget and still want your eye-shadow vibrant and pretty, try making your very own eyeshadow primer! After watching a few videos from youtube, I went out to target and bought me a few thangs. Target is my most favorite store of all! lol, So what I was missing was body butter. You can use your own moisturizer which I will try soon, but I just wanted to try it out with body butter. I didn't chose a specific body butter I sorta chose what was kinda the cheapest around what I would use. First I saw the burts bees one, that was about 14 dollars, then I saw this other organic one which was also 14 dollars. Next i looked lower, and saw 10 dollar body butter in different scents so I just chose that instead. It's by Boots, called Amazon Forest Mango & babassu body butter. There was many other scents but since i liked mango, I just got mango.

So all you need for your homemade eyeshadow primer is body butter OR moisturizer, and a liquid concealer or foundation, something to mix with, and an EMPTY JAR! I just eye-balled the amount. I think i put more body butter than liquid foundation is what it seemed. But here are the results!:
