Calorie intake
Saturday, April 17, 2010Here is a video of me blabbering about motivation,food,insanity,getting healthy/fit and calorie intake! :) here are the calculations!
Women: 655 + (4.35 x weight in lbs) + (4.7 x height in inches) - (4.7 x age in years)
Men: 66 + (6.23 x weight in lbs) + (12.7 x height in inches) - (6.8 x age in years)
Then multiply your total by your exercise factor:
1.2 for little or no exercise
1.375 light exercise (3-5 days a week)
1.55 moderate exercise (6-7 days a week)
1.7 hard exercise (6-7 days a week)
1.9 hard daily exercise and or physical job
(INSANITY PPL USE MODERATELY ACTIVE OR VERY ACTIVE)
ex: 655 + (4.35 x 130lbs) + (4.7 x 60 inches) - (4.7 x 19yrs) = 1,413
1,413 x 1.7= 2,402
if you want to maintain that weight, that would be your calorie intake. if you want to lose weight, subtract that total from 500.
2,402-500= 1,902. My calorie intake on the video was diff cuz i muliplied it by 1.55 as the exercise factor. lol.
