I own both the original and the new formula. 

First off, let's talk about the packaging. 

I love the NEW packaging, it's not messy as the old packaging.

Now let's talk about the color.

The color significantly changed from the original formula.

Not sure how that came about, but a lot of ladies on

sephora have been complaining because of the color.

I recently got the new batch of the lolita lipstick a couple of weeks ago

when it came back in stock.

Before the it came back in stock, I swatched a tester at sephora and that color

seemed to be a lot darker and brown than this formula that i just received.

I guess they're having issues with the formulation which probably messes up the 

color? Not entirely sure, but it seems that each new batch seems to 

be a tad bit different.

The original formula is a lot true to the name of the color, a Dusty Rose.

Whereas the newer batch seems to have more of a mauve brown tone.

Which I do like. 

What I also noticed was that the older formulation is more opaque

than the newer one. The newer one is a lot more sheer,

and need more than one application for an opaque color.
