In my previous blog, I was in the process of waiting for my dough to chill.

Later on that night I made a different batch of these cookies.

They turned out better than the first, but still not up to my standards of how I want them to taste.

It's ok.. i'll keep trying! practice makes perfect! i think.. lol

Yea, i'm nothing like the food bloggers and their pictures. lol.
I have horrible lighting.. since it was night time and I couldn't use natural light.

This morning, I went to go check out the cookies..
And more than half of them were gone..
I wonder who ate em?
There's like 3 more left. 

My cousins went to New York, and came back Saturday night.

They brought my other cousins and I doughnuts from doughnut plant.

They invited us over for doughtnuts, and "rice pudding" from rice to riches.

LOL!!

I Guess you all are wondering what my title is all about..

But it's all fun and jokes.. really.. it is..

The rice pudding exploded from it's container..

Probably because their luggages were tossed and all that

and the container broke.

So it got everywhere in the bag it came with. 

but we made a joke out of it..

saying it looked like poop.

and my cousin Rowena told my Other cousin Karen

to put some rice pudding in Izzy's (my niece's) diaper.

And wanted me to take a picture to make it look realistic that it really was SHIT.

hahaha! yeahh..

I really liked the Creme Brule one, and the carrot one.

That could look realistic.. can it?

Would you eat shit for a million dollars? Manang Kayen did it for $275.83.. all the money we had. Lol.

I was bored last night, and remembered buying 

2 tins of large strawberries.

I wanted to put them to use before they rott! 

So I made some chocolate covered strawberries,

and let them sit in the fridge overnight.

Aint they gorgeous??!

all they're missing are white chocolate swirls on em! 

NEXT TIME..

Every year, my parents and I usually my bro, but not this year..

and my Grandma from my dad's side, and this year,

my grandparents from my mom's side came to the cemetery.

We go there to visit my grandpa (dad's father), my brother, and my uncle (my dad's brother).

It was a nice bonding with my family.

Afterwards we went to eat at In&Out. and it was packed! 

There's was a lot of people there.

After that, my boyfriend and I did some insanity plyo.

I'm trying to help him get into shape slowly.

Right now, it's pretty intense for him. 

but I dont blame him.. I was struggling myself when i first started.

My Brother

I've been wanting a kitchenaid for sometime now.

I've been following a few food bloggers, and they've been having contest

to win a kitchen aid, but I never won.. lol.

I finally had the nerve to actually buy myself one.

I had a good amount of money in my Macy's card,

and used it to buy my kitchen aid! Reg price was $299, it was on sale

for $249, then there was an extra 10% off.

All together it was about $245.

I really wanted the Artisan kitchen aid ones, which were like 55 dollars more..

I liked it because it had different colors.. but ehh..

my boyfriend stopped me and was like it's the same thing!!

just smaller and less powerful, but still powerful!

So i said, hey why not.. It's not like i'm a professional baker!

SO, i finally got it saturday..

I didn't use it till today.. MONDAY.

The first thing I mixed with it was a batch of cookie and cream cookies.

All i did was follow the toll house cookie recipe,

but instead of chocolate chips, i added chopped oreos..

It came out alright.. it wasn't all that.

I also substituted flour for whole wheat flour..

kinda tasted like bread or something lol..

yeah i'm not much of a baker.. 

but i am willing to learn! :D

SO, A few minutes ago, i found another recipe I wanted to try,

Same cookie, different recipe site. 

And right now the dough is chillen in the fridge, and i'll bake it around 11:30pm.

hahhaah!! hopefully those will taste better.. i'll have a separate post on them.

White was the only color it came in for the 4.5qt classic.

It's really easy to clean! la la la love it!
