Lately, I've been buying a variety of foundation. Mostly inspired by Jlovesmac1. I've been watching her haul video and her search for a great foundation! LOL! ugh im getting addicted again. But today I got the Chanel Mat Lumiere foundation in soft honey #100.
The Lady at the Chanel counter in Macy's matched up a pretty good color for me. After taking off my makeup to try out the color, she said I have beautiful skin, and if she was me, she wouldn't be wearing makeup. I was shocked that she said that! All my life i've struggled with really bad skin.. like it was crazy bad! Hella acne, big pustule acne! Then I started using Benzoyl Peroxide from acne.org. Anyways, she said my skin was even and nice. Another worker at Sephora also said my skin looked really nice and even as well. Damn, all these compliments make me want to not skip my acne medicine! LOL! Sometimes i get so lazy and just forget about it, and that's when I start developing acne.. ugh..

Anyhoo, the lady at Chanel said I should spend more money on skin care rather than makeup. Skincare is much more important thank makeup. And she's actually right! She also recommended I use a really good SPF on my face to prevent aging! That got me scared! tomorrow I'm going to be on a hunt for a good face SPF esp for oily skin! She also said you get what pay for.. meaning if its too cheap, then it might not work as well on your skin. I was so close to buying the Chanel Powder foundation but she totally stopped me. She said my face looks nice and fresh as it is and you don't want to cake on more product on your face. He accent sounded like she was from london, and she said "The Westerner's have this thing of powdering themselves with makeup!" lol! and she told me to just skip that all together because I didn't need the extra coverage! So yeah, she was a very nice lady.

I also got the F.A.B Ultra repair cream because although my overall skin tends to be oily, I get really dry on the nose area! it's so annoyingly flakey! So I decided to try this product out and I did for the first time after I bought it and it totally moisturized it!! mmm awesome!!

On top of that, I also got a haircut. nothing special, just a little trim and cleaned up my layers. My hair was looking a bit dull on my bday party. I should've got a haircut before hand. Now my hair looks nicely textured lol! I also bought a hair product from my salon. So here are pictures of my overall haul
