Homemade Primer Trial

Testing out the primer I made for my eyeshadows. I would have to say it's pretty decent!
Again, the shadows I used were from the coastal scents 88 warm palette.

I took these pics around 4:30pm

colors have lightly faded a bit, but still remains. You can see the eyeshadows creasing a bit. But for a cheap price or even for free, you can make a simple primer that you can wear if you're on a budget.

Overall, if you're on a budget and wont be needing to wear your eyeshadow for the whole day, then this is a great solution for you! You can also mix it up a bit using different types of moisturizers to make your primer. If you have oily lids like me, you should try and oil free moisturizer and mix it in with your foundation to make a primer.
However, If you're planning on having your eyeshadow on for long periods of time, I encourage you to buy a decent primer such as urban decay primer potion or too faced shadow insurance. These are great primers and It doesn't crease on the folds of my lids after long hours of wear.

So you decide. Are you that type of person who loves to wear eye shadow and loves to keep your colors vibrant without creasing throughout the day? Then I consider you buy a pricier primer if you're not on a budget. On the other hand, if you are on a budget, and don't wear eye shadows that often then definitely look into making your own primer :)
